Description

The Greek 101 Conference, is a University mandated requirement for any potential new member at CSU, Northridge, who is seeking membership into a Greek lettered organization. Failure to attend the Greek 101 Conference, will result in a violation of the Recruitment Intake Procedures.

The purpose of the Greek 101 Conference is to serve as an educational program for incoming new members of the Fraternity and Sorority community to learn ways in which to develop community and gain knowledge on issues such as bystander intervention, sexual assault, and issues pertaining to alcohol.

*Please note, there will not be any food/snacks at the event. You are welcome to bring food, snacks, water should you need them.*

Topics covered include: Alcohol & Drugs, Hazing & Bystander Behavior, Title IX, and Community Building.


FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking on campus is open seven days a week, 24 hours-a-day, and is enforced. Parking permits are required at all times in all areas of campus and cost $8 per day. Parking permits must be properly displayed to avoid parking citations. To be valid, the parking permit must be affixed to the vehicle front inside windshield, lower corner, passenger side, while parked at CSUN. The entire permit must be visible including serial number and security features. Parking Officers patrol all lots daily and are authorized to issue citations on vehicles that are in violation of parking rules and regulations. All rules and regulations concerning parking may be obtained at any Campus Information Booth or the Parking Office. Our Parking Officers patrol our parking areas daily.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, the name on the ticket must be your own and is only valid for the time you selected. If you need to cancel/change your reservation for any reason, please do so via the event page.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you can update your registration until the day of the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your ticket via an electronic or printed copy for admission to the conference with a photo ID.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, the name on the ticket must be yours. Please do not RSVP for others.
